Tiny List Big Profits - Discover How My Little List Outperforms Big Lists at a 8-10 times profit per customer basis

I've got something extremely important to share with you.

As a matter of fact I consider it to be a top 3 business objective right now.

What is it.

Understanding how to get emails opened and knowing the direction email
marketing is heading.

Why should you listen to me?

Simply put I get emails opened and more dollar per customer then about 90% of
the "so called guru's" i know.

Yep big statement but true.

Some may not be a fan of my "Email Hammer of Death". Meaning the number of
emails i send but please read on.

Why email?

Simple...

It's the easiest way to get in front of someone with your message in a way that
they aren't defensive.

After all...they open them and make the choice to read.

Your not at the front door with vacuum in hand begging to suck everything
your two year old ever put into the carpet out.

Why YOU instead of the other 14 people ahead of YOU?

Two things here.

ONE: Get the headline right....make it stand out above and beyond the next guy.

TWO: Most Important....Don't just be the "Used Car Salesman"...

You see, for the most part many of you spend some time on our blog.

You've seen our reports and you probably know a few things such as we work our ASS off to bring you quality FREE content at the blog and Kick Ass reports.

So when we send something we may be seen as a friend. Someone with some VALUE to offer.

Not the latest get my 77 bonuses, 33 special reports, and my first born if you buy Jeff Walkers latest product launch.

So figure out how to bring some added value and get in the FRIEND ZONE!

Don't sound like a Whimpy Apologetic Puke!

"Please give me a chance to show you my portfolio..." "Sorry to bother you but I
was wondering if you need a ___________?" "I know you're busy but I was
hoping you would consider my services the next time you need _________?"

QUIT ALREADY...

Get to the point, show them you have something of value, why they are "Tarded" if they don't get it now, and do it quickly if possible.

Now I'd like to show you Five very specific strategies for writing Kick Ass Emails, Get Them Opened, and as a bonus I'll show you the future of email...

5 Step “Cold-Prospect To Hot-Lead” Formula

**Note: This is just one of many formula's I use but it's by far one of the most universal and effective.

1. Create an effective subject line: Keep it simple and focused on providing timely, relevant information. No tricky stuff.

Simple and relevant and timely is what you’re looking for here. Here’s some

samples that worked…

Subject line: Handouts for he upcoming plastics expo

Subject line: Getting case studies done on time…

Subject line: How do you get resellers to back your new products?

-----

2. Establish credibility

Here, you’ve gotta answer the question in the prospect’s mind of, “How do I know this email is just for me?”

This is where your homework serves as evidence that you’re in tune with their specific needs.

-----

3. Build interest in your expertise and services

This is where you say something about how you help clients solve a specific problem or achieve a specific goal. Think, “Trade Show Lead Generation

Specialist” vs. “Marketing Consultant”.

-----

4. Invite the prospect to take simple, easy-to-say-yes to next step

One easy step for your prospect to take would be them replying back to you asking you to send them an article that you’ve written that contains helpful information. Or something else that the prospect may need to see.

-----

5. Include a full signature line

Make sure to include your full signature line: Your name, your contact information, your phone number, your email address, your website, you can even put a quick elevator speech line there.

Don’t forget this. You don’t want people have to wonder how to get a hold of you.

Here’s an email that used all of these guidelines that kicked ass…

Subject: Getting case studies done.

“Hi Mark. I’ve been meaning to contact you. Because I do so much work with companies in the enterprise software industry, I’ve come across your company’s website on several occasions, and recently, I noticed that you have begun to use case studies in your marketing communications mix.

Do you find it time consuming to develop this type of collateral?

I ask because I create a lot of case studies for clients like Hewlett-Packard and Sage, and one of the main reasons the marketing executives at those companies use my services is that I save them on average 10-15 hours per project.

I’m not sure if time savings in regards to case studies is an issue for you but if it is, I’d be happy to send a report that I wrote on “How To Shave at least 1, 2, even 5 Hours off of Writing Your Case Studies”.

Please just let me know and I’ll email you that information right away. All the best, Robin.”

This was about 160 words long and notice the tone.

It’s very peer-to-peer. She established herself as an equal by showing she plays in their world in a couple of sentences. She raised the issue and then offered to send helpful info.

That’s why this email works.

Why Email might not even work in 2 years and what you MUST do to make sure yours does...

Fact: Emails are getting harder and harder to get opened.

Fact: RSS is kicking Mr. Emails A.S.S.!

I have some thoughts (right or wrong) as to where I think things are heading.

I believe that as E-Reader's, Ipads, and Killer Smart Phones grow and everyone has one or more...

People will begin to be choosy as to whom they listen and read and most importantly have complete control as to format and delivery.

I believe that one day in the near future that your customers will pull your content, as well as others, into a magazine type format on their device of choice.

All information will become individually customized. Much like you see with Twitter Times and the sort.

If I'm right then you've got to begin to think about how you present things in your blog post and syndicated content.

You've got to have offers (ads) right there in the midst of it all.

You've got to have direct links to sales page right there.

This is contrary to most everything we've been taught about blog post etc.. but I'm a believer this is going to change.

But don't jump the gun ...just be aware.
